Join us for a Free Intro to Jiu Jitsu Class! Perfect for anyone who has been wanting to see what Jiu Jitsu is all about. This class is great for first-timers and is open to all Fitness Levels. If you don’t already have a gi (uniform), boardshorts, work out shorts, and a rashguard or T-Shirt are recommended. Come train in a safe and friendly environment!

What are lifetime memberships?
Lifetime memberships allow you to pay one flat fee and never pay dues again! These prices are for Jiu Jitsu only. Please ask us about CrossFit rates.
Why get a lifetime membership at The Stronghold?
Here’s some reasons, just to name a few:
- The average fee for a monthly Jiu Jitsu membership ranges between $100 and $175 (based on national average). In a 2 year period, you would pay between $2400 – $4300 on dues alone.
- A Stronghold lifetime membership costs $3000 or $2500 (military, law enforcement, fire discount). That is just about a little more than half a year that you pay for in advance!
- Never worry about paying monthly dues

Renzo Salazar at Abu Dhabi Pro

This past weekend was the Abu Dhabi Pro World at Point Loma High! Once again our Kid competitors showed some awesome effort, and our Adults also had some pretty tough matches. We didn’t get the results we hoped for, but at least we know what areas we need to go back to work on. Renzo Salazar went home with the Gold Medal and Kymani Yambao brought home Bronze. Congrats guys!
We are also having a Stronghold KIDS “Bring a Friend” Intro to Jiu Jitsu & Treat Night tonight! If you have a child interested in seeing what Jiu Jitsu is all about or know someone that does, we’d love to see you! Starts tonight at 6PM at The Stronghold in Point Loma. Spread the word!
On March 3, we had our first joint Kids Belt Promotions! Congratulations to all the kids who received new belts and stripes! We look forward to the next joint Stronghold Family event.

On March 10-11, 2012, The Stronghold Jiu Jitsu Competition Team will be competing at the Abu Dhabi Pro World Trials in San Diego. The Abu Dhabi Pro is one of the most prestigious Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournaments and we are excited that they will be accepting both Adult and Kids Competitors of all ranks this year. 1st Place Adult Winners of select divisions also win an all expense paid trip to Abu Dhabi to participate in the World Pro Championship in April 2012. All of our competitors are responsible of raising their own funds for competitions throughout the year, and for this particular tournament, all profits from shirt sales will go to our competitors. We hope you will consider supporting our team!
